My research explores early urbanism during the Bronze and Iron Ages in Türkiye (ancient Anatolia) and related topics including the cultural history of the Hittites and the Neolithic period of the same region.  Other areas of expertise include contemporary issues of archaeological heritage in in Türkiye and Western Asia.
